The Bingo Association has launched a brand new variation of traditional bingo, which is being called 'Bingo Break'.
The new game is currently being trialed across 13 bingo clubs in the UK, after being passed by the Gambling Commission.
Participants can purchase a bingo ticket for the game at any participating club, featuring numbers 1-60, rather than the traditional 1-90 ticket. Ten numbers are drawn for each game, and as the tickets are bought sealed, they can be purchased before or after the draw has been made.
The game works similar to a lottery where the amount of prize money depends on how many numbers are matched on a single ticket. The cash prizes available range from £2-£15 with jackpots expected to reach £3,000.
Players have already won over £85,000 from over 130,000 sold tickets, with about 1 in every 5 tickets sold being a winner.
